Why choose stacking doors
A stacking door works like a sliding door with extra panels. Instead of one panel sliding past a fixed one, two or more panels slide and stack neatly together, so you can open most of a wide opening without anything swinging into the room.
The 170mm frame is designed for large, heavy panels. The low rail-to-sill design gives the glass strong support, and the hollow sill has a built-in baffle to help with water, air and noise.
Stacking doors are a popular upgrade in newer estates where the builder fitted a standard two-panel slider to the alfresco.

What is the difference between a stacking door and a bifold door?
A stacking door opens up to two-thirds of the opening and keeps the panels in their tracks. A bifold opens almost the full width but the panels fold out to the side. We can show you both at the factory.
Can I replace my sliding door with a stacking door?
Often, yes, if the opening is wide enough. We check the opening and structure when we measure.
Can stacking doors have fly screens?
Yes. We make matching fly screens and security screens for stacking doors.
