Know the difference
Security door or fly screen?
A fly screen keeps insects out and lets air in. It is light and affordable, but it is not designed to stop someone getting in.
A security door uses a strong frame, stainless steel mesh or perforated aluminium, and a multi-point lock. It keeps insects out too, but its main job is keeping your home secure while the door behind it is open.
Many customers choose security doors for entry and back doors and fly screens for windows.
Can you make screens for my existing windows and doors?
Yes. We measure your existing openings and make new fly screens or security screens to fit, including replacements for old or damaged screens.
What colours are available?
Frames are powder coated in the Dulux powder-coat range, so screens can match your window frames or front door.
I live in a townhouse or unit. Can you help with strata requirements?
Yes. Many strata schemes set rules on the colour or style of security doors and screens. Check your by-laws or ask your strata manager, and we will make the door to suit.
